Which Scorm is best to use with Docebo?

Post by ebsi »

Hi all,

Which SCORM is best to use with Docebo? I guess since I have both 3.6 ad 4.05 I would need to know :

3.6 = SCORM 1.2 or 1.3 (I assume this is SCORM 2004?)
4.05= SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 1.3/2004?

I am using Articulate storyline for my content... any issues?

Thanks

Hi Thomas,

yes, Scorm 1.3 was formerly known as Scorm 2004

Concerning your issue, I am afraid it is a tidbit more complicated.
Either Scorm 1.2 or Scorm 1.3 should work fine with docebo 3.6 and 4.05, especially if produced with Presenter. I still haven't tried in detail with Storyline.
We only had an issue with a multi-sco object (produced with Sap Rwd) on a 4.05, but we are not sure if it was Docebo's fault or if it was the object.

if you don't have time to make experiments and you don't care about the differences between 1.2 and 1.3, you'd better stick with 1.2 and you'll be fine.

Thanks thats what I have done... all I need is to record scores and users progress as completed or incompleted

Hi Thomas,
did you manage to solve your issue? In the meanwhile, we have been using Storyline extensively with Docebo and didn't have any problem.
The only other advice I can give you is to take a look at the tracking options: you'd better choose

- completed/uncompleted if you DON'T have quizzes
- passed/failed if you do

With those options, Docebo/Storyline interact well
