Hiding Teacher Menu for Students

Hello everyone! So I am a newbie, but I have building, and learning my way around. I am having the same issue as the poster. I am running version 1.4.3. I have followed the instructions on this thread, but the teacher tab is still there when a student logs in. Have I missed something? Once again, this is probably something that I have missed, but I would appreciate it if nay of you could point me into the right direction.

Did you change settings in front-end or in the back-end?
If you did it in back-end, did you re-assign the new menu to your course (s)

Hey Max! Thank you so much for the help! I was forgetting to apply it to the front end. Sorry about the silly question, but I would have never figured it out on my own.
