End Of Line for files

I'm reviewing some of the css files in the templates/ folder in different editors and judging from the looks of the file I see that the entire file is all one line. Should it be that way? Is there a better way to view this file?

Example I see /templates/standard/cssdoc/assets/css/main.css:

You could use an advanced editor such as atom https://atom.io/ with the beautify plugin https://atom.io/packages/atom-beautify
