Question types

Hi there, I'm pretty new to FormaLMS.
I'm trying to decide whether to switch to it from Moodle or not.
I saw that FormaLMS integrates a gift import tool, and this sounds extremely good, so I imported my Moodle tests in this format and everything seems working.
After that, I've tried to fiddle around with questions types, and I found some problems understanding the following types:

IC - Inline Choice
TE -Text Entry
HT - Hot Text (find the wrong word)

In all of these question types, the question textarea comes with a strange "[answer]" placeholder I'm afraid I'm failing to understand.

Can anyone explain it?

IC is a dropdown menu where you choose among the different answers
