Teacher Area not visible in course menu

Hello,

I am having issues with the course menu; even though my course has the standard menu assigned (which contains the Student Area, Collaborative Area, Stat Area AND Teacher Area - and I checked in Settings- elearning configuration - manage menu, all these items are shown in the standard menu), when I go to my course, the only areas that are shown are the Student Area, Collaborative Area and Stat Area. Therefore, I am not able to edit the course and add learning objects.

I tried creating another course, assigned the standard menu, the teacher area still does not show. I also tried creating another menu and assigned it to the course, the teacher area was still not visible.

How could I fix this?

You probably have been subscribed as a student in the course you are trying to edit. You should change your role to a teacher or an administrator.

Also, check your permissions in your standard menu: students shouldn't see the Stat Area.

I am an administrator in the course, I checked it, so it's not because of that. Is there another reason why that would happen?

We have another course on the platform that was created a few days ago in which the teacher area shows, but if we create another one now, the area does not show.

Also, how could I change someone's role in a course?
