Enrollment Rules for Mentors or Instructors

Hi there. I am currently using the enrollment rules to subscribe new users from groups to their specific courses. Is it possible to also use this functionality to assign users as "mentors" to specific courses? Typically the management layer of the company need to act as mentors to the junior staff on some of the training courses...

no - the rules only subscribe users as learners

With little implementation to the enrollment rule module you can obtain what you need. Obviously, I suppose you would like to have a group where users will all be enrolled with the same level (let's say teachers) so you won't have a group with some users to be enrolled as students and other as teachers.

Yes - the entire group will have the same level - mentors.

I would also like to find out if it is possible to enroll a group to a curricula (only as students like the standard functionality)?
