Certificate content doesn't reflect what I've setup

Post by rcaston »

Hi

I have the Certificate Sample as setup by default when installing Forma. I have added content as shown in your example ie: This certificate is awarded to [display_name] upion the completion of [course_name] date: [date_complete]

However, when I click the preview, all I see is: This certificate is awarded to  [display_name] at the bottom of the page, with a blue border at the top & bottom & the rest of the page is white. So nothing has changed from what is installed by default.

Where am I going wrong please?

thanks Rob

I suppose you are not actually editing the Certificate template, but rather its description.
You need to click on "Template", not on the pencil icon. The edit button just edits the description, I think you put all your changes there.
The description is for admins only, it just serves to remind you what is in the certificate. It doesn't reflect on the output.
