Gradebook: modify activity

First of all: Congratulations to the forma.lms 1.2. It has many great features.

Now my problem: I can add a new activity in the Gradebook. But when I want to modify it, the "Activity title", the "Max score" and the "Required score" is empty.
And there is no way to change it.

What kind of problem could it be?

Thank you.

Pucky

Hi Pucky, and welcome onboard! :)

The "add activity" feature can be used to manually store the scores of a classroom test or other "real life" activities. If you are trying to add an elearning activity instead you can do this through the "Learning Object Management" menu, by adding a test object or a scorm object containig some kind of score tracking. Test objects will be automatically listed in the gradebook, whilst the scorm have to be added with the "add scorm results" button.
This said... it seems you found a bug with the modification of custom activities ;)

Maybe I expressed myself wrong. My English is bad.

I know, that the Test objects will be automatically listed in the gradebook. But if I add a new activity for manual, I can enter the "Activity title", the "Max score" and the "Required score". But before I can enter the manual scores for the students, I have to save. In the second step I have to click on modify. Now I can write down the score of the students, but my entries in the "Activity title", the "Max score" and the "Required score" are no longer available. It is empty, and there is no way to change it.

Thank you.

Hi Pucky,
don't worry - with this further explanation I can tell you we understood what you meant. As Alberto had said before, you have just found a bug. Not only with the modification of custom activities, but with the creation of them.

Hi drgallegos,
no - the bug was not fixed yet. Everybody has been on holiday, here, and we're just gradually recovering our normal activities. This function is not very used by our customers, so until now it has not been a high priority.

Anyway, you say you upgraded (I suppose from D 3.6). As a curiosity, can you tell us if in D36 it was working?

Yes. The function was working in 3.6, and I have looked at Docebo 4.x, and it was working there as well (I think). This function is critical to our school because teachers create custom gradebook assignments and then enter grades for the assignments manually.

Update: I just logged in to Docebo 4.x, and yes the gradebook modification works correctly there.

Hi
The gradebook was modified since Docebo left many open bugs in it, particularly as far as the Scorm activities are concerned.
Incoherence in the number of users passed/not passed, the scorm result doesn't pass through to the final score column and others. Those were critical for us, so we corrected them. It seems that the fix "broke" the activity modification.

If you cannot wait, what I suggest is as follows:

there is only one file concerned
back up your original FormaLms file, it should be this one: appLms/modules/coursereport/coursereport.php
replace it with Docebo original file you can find here: doceboLms/modules/coursereport/coursereport.php

and you will have your original gradebook back.

Let us know if it works or if you need further assistance, in the meanwhile I'll verify that the fix to the gradebook is included in the next release.

Remember that docebo ce 4.0.5 files can not be used "as is" in forma 1.2.
You need some tricks.
