Gradebook comments or commented points

Hi

To support offline (classroom) sessions I setup a course. During that offline course students write a term paper. This term paper will be manually graded (I give points). In FormaLMS gradebook (teacherside) I set up several activities which correspond to the term paper and I am able give points, fine so far.

But I can no give comments to the points (eg. I give 8 of 10 possible because of this or that). I am able to write a comment by grading, but this comment disappear somewhere, and I do no see it anymore. The comment is also not included in the export CSV.

Any hints for me?

Hi Oliver,
the comment doesn't disappear.

The student will be able to see it by clicking on the "report card" menu item.

The .csv export only exports scores achieved in the tests or scorms.

Hi Max
Many thanks.
Ok, is there a way to export the comments together wirth the scores also (as an option or so)? For my purpose it would be neccessary. Because if I grade like this, I have to send in the grades together with the comments to the backoffice of the school.
Or could that be even solved by a small script which does fullfil this?

Hi Oliver,

it would make for a nice new feature request. We're currently working to improve the gradebook, but so far we didn't think about that.

Hi Max

thanks. I think that would be a simple, but effectful addition to the gradebook.
