Can someone guide me how to config forma.lms to perform user authentication with microsoft AD?
How to import users from AD?

Hi, forma natively provides features for AD authentication, but not for AD user sync.

To configure AD authentication see here:

You can manually import a list of AD users or sync them with I/O connectors:

Very poor information.
I doubt that is possible to config windows LDAP authentication just asking for AD server IP...

Can you share an example?

When we config a LDAP server we need to specify the username and the password for the bind account, unless you have the ldap open to guest accounts that is not recommended.

Plus, we need the context, we need to specify which users will have access to the system by giving a LDAP security group or an LDAP OU.

For a LMS that claims to be used in cooperate environment, a robust the LDAP integration is a must, please check how moodle handle it.

Or, again, I can be missing something, anyone with deeper forma/ldap knowledge?

I am not a developer nor an IT, I just pointed out that the documentation didn't just say to insert the IP. And no, I never tried and I wouldn't know how to do it. All I know is that we have successfully integrated LDAP with Forma in the past.
Yes, there are other members with deeper knowledge, I will tell them to comment further here.
