LDAP integration and external users

We have successfully integrated forma.lms with our AD through the LDAP configuration. It is working great! Just add the user, make sure the forma username is the same as the AD username, and that is it. User logs in with his AD password.

My problem is that we now have a few external users that needs access to the system. How do I create a user that is not on AD and must login with a password set in forma.lms? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hi, you have to write some code to intercept external calls and register new users against a successful LDAP authentication.
