Hi,
I have a multi tennent (with an empty "Website URL with final /") site running 3.01 where reports are sent out to customers that contain a link that points
http://localhost/files/common/report/... they are unable to open the report file as they unable to connect to the server. Also the site is https.
How can I solve this and also why do some report emails contain links and others excel files?
Cheers
Graeme

It's an old bug.

Hi
Thanks for getting back to me. Why do some sites send excel files and others links?
Cheers
Graeme

I'm not sure of this, I should be on instance to investigate further.

Graeme, actually I think it's simpler than that
Concerning the localhost, in all our instances the link that is being sent actually pulls the correct URL. From what I know, the "localhost" URL issue only happens when the cron job that sends the report is on a local machine and not on the cloud server. We already fixed that in our instances.
Sending files or links is something that you can decide in the advanced settings of Forma. You set a maximum size for attached files, if it's more than that it will send links. With 0 it'll send links.

In your istance this is probably more than 0, therefore it sends files if they are lighter than the value you have set.
