Bengali alphabets are not supported

Hello,
I tried to make a course on Bengali Language but unfortunately it is not supported in the app. Only "?" Signs are showing in the place of alphabets. How can I overcome this problem? I also want to use mathematical expression in questions. Is it possible?

What does "make a course" mean to you?
SCORM learning object?

For maths expressions, you'll have to generate images and embed them in the editor.

Hello, if you refer to the interface then this suggestions could be useful.


- the bengali language is not natively available, but you can create your own language file by downloading one of the availble languages, translating it and amending its description and properties. Of course do not touch the xml tags, just the translation
- then you can upload it

After that, if done correctly, everything should work fine. I suggest starting from English, which is the most complete language.

If you refer to course content, bengali characters show up perfectly in an html editor, as you can see here (this is an example of an html page Learning Object inside Forma Lms)

I mean that all the contents including "course name, description, test questions etc" will be in Bengali Language. Example:
Course Name: মেডিক্যাল ভর্তি প্রস্তুতি

I don't want to translate but want to create content in Bengali. Do I need to install a font?

If you write content in Bengali it will work, see my screenshots above, that is why I posted them. If your LMS just shows ??? it means there is some wrong setting in your installation but without being on your instance I cannot know what.

If you also want a Bengali interface, then follow what I wrote above.

Yes, I have found the bug. The database created by Softaculous is set to Latin charset. I changed it to unicode and Bengali Alphabets are now showing.
Can anyone tell me how can I change the font of entire website? In which file shall I need to change?
