This new release features many important changes and improvements:

Upgrade is possible from version 3.3.10 or higher: if you are on any previous version just upgrade your platform version to 3.3.10 or higher before migrating to version 4.

Hello. Do you have a sandbox/demo for 4.0 that I can log into and look around?

Does it support PHP 8.2.8?

No, Forma 4 supports PHP 7.4 up to 8.1

Thanks for the response. Changed my php version to php 8.1.18, seeing some exceptions and upgrade is failing. Does it have to be specific 8.1 version to work?

No, any 8.1.x should work
Could you provide an error log and more details on your environment, so we can check your issue?

Can I use this version for a work installation?

Yes, you can use forma 4 on production sites.

Of course as a common practice for any upgrade we recommend to try first the upgrade on a staging environment and always make backups before proceeding. This is specially advised for Forma 4, since it brings important code and db changes and has different server requirement. The new upgrader operates a migration and may encounter conflicts in case you have customizations.

From what you tell me I should not encounter any problem, because it is a new installation.

To install version 4 is it necessary to configure the DB as UTF8?
