I have Ubuntu 20.04, php 7.4 and mysql 5.6 installed. When I start the installation but in Sept 4: configuration I get this error:

"Can't connect to DB, please check inserted data"


Can anybody help me, please?

Hi,
unfortunately mysql has not a verbose error logging, so one should be on your instance to investigate further.
One question: what about sql_mode configuration parameter and collation type/character set of your db?
