I would like to add a custom field to Course Edition. In following the reference guide, I should be able to add it to that field area. When added, it does not show in the course edition; However, if I add it to the course, it will show on the course entry page. Please advise.

Please provide:

- forma version
- screenshot of created field
- screenshot of the page where you expect it to appear

The version is 3.3.24,

It seems you're adding a classroom not an edition. Provide screenshots with all steps from the very beginning and include the relative URL (hide sensible data such as the base domain).

I was following the procedure titled: How to create a classroom course with editions.

1. Create the course
2. Click on Classrooms/Editions (under the date 17)
3. Add: Course > Classroom > Add - Complete Page
4. Course > Classroom > mod dates

If the relative URL is needed, my IT Director can provide.

If there is a different area to add Editions, I am unable to locate.

You're definitely adding classrooms not editions.
The course type is wrong.
To me, edition fields should work either for editions AND classrooms.
But I think it would need implementation.

When you say it needs implementation, is it not formatted in the software and need revision? Or am I doing something wrong?

Implementation = code revision/refactoring/rewriting based on needs.
