Course Management Error

When I log in as a public adminstrator then select Course Management I get a server 500 error.
I recently upgraded from 4.04 - 4.05. I did not replace any of the template files. Could this be causing it or something else.

Hi Jeff,

I would check the permissions you gave the public administrator user. Can you please let us know how these settings are?

Apart from your upgrade, did the public admin work well before?

The upgrade itself shouldn't cause problems.

However, I recommend you to check this forum to see if you installed all the patches that we published.

Waiting for your news

I have tried many different combinations of permissions which didn't help.
I turned on error reporting and this is the php error
Fatal error: Call to a member function getAllUsersFromIdst() on a non-object in /var/www/vhosts/bushuehrtraining.com/httpdocs/training/lib/lib.preference.php on line 1154

Can you post a screenshot of these settings?

- public administrator profile and its permissions
- public admin management and the permissions given to this specific user
