Hi,
yes, if you configure it that way it can.

Hi Max,
In the public admins profile I have given them permission to see certificates but it doesn't show on the dropdown list, only User management, Course management, Report and Newsletter.
Have I missed something?
Cheers
Graeme

Did you re-assign the updated profile to the public admin you want to see the certificates?

Hi Max
Thanks for getting back to me.
I have just removed the public admin profile from the Public admin logged back in as them to see if the manage button had gone which it had, then logged out.
Re added the Public_Admin profile to the public admin and had them log back in again still no certificates in the dropdown. Is there another way of re-assigning them?
Graeme

Hi Graeme,
you're right, assigning that specific permission doesn't work with the public admin.
I opened a bug in our bugtracker. In the meanwhile, you are probably better off by using "admins" rather than public admins, if you want them to be able to see certificates.

Hi Max
Thanks for that I thought, I was going crazy, I have tried every other combination to get it to work. I like the public admin option it keeps everything simple stops Admins getting scared by their new power lol.
I will get them to tell their learners to send their certificates. to the admin they can see the completion emails as Instructors and see the reports as public admin!
Thanks for your help
Graeme

Hi Graeme,
yes I understand. Public Admin keeps it simple for people who are afraid of having to think of a back-end as opposed to a front-end...
But I like your solution, it seems to me that it's a good workaround.
