Generating Direct Links to Courses

Apologies if this has been asked before, but, is there a specific way to generate a direct link to a course? I realize copying the url seems to work, but, it seems to take a user to the Courses page, where they have the option to Enter many different courses. I was hoping to get a link directly to a specific course. Is that possible?

it cannot be done natively.

Yet, we do have a specific add-on that lets you do something very similar (a user-specific direct link to a course).

You can achieve that with single sign on feature.
