Send new login credentials to users

Hi,
Has anybody else found that after

Selecting a user in the organisation chart
More actions
Edit
Ticking the new password box
Completing the new password field
Send new login credentials to users
Submit

No email is sent to the user.
This happens in version 3.3/3.21/3.20/3.01.

Previously it resent the original 'Welcome email' with the updated password.

Check under Settings / System Configuration / Event Manager if "User has been modified" event is set for mandatory email notifications.

Did you enable the "user has been modified" event?
That's what triggers the notification. If you enable it, it works correctly.

You just have to customize the email text (in the languages) to make it look more like the "welcome email".

Before, the event triggered the initial "welcome emal" notification, now it triggers a different email. And I believe this to be correct, because it's actually a slightly different thing.
