How to use Attendance and Presence Menu

Dear Forma Team,

I have assigne the "Attendance and Presence" menu through setting "Manage Menu" and have assigned to student.

But I am little confused how to use it. Is it only for classroom course or for it can be used for any course the user is assigned to.
