Catalogue subscription codes

Hi,
I want to display a course in a catalogue and have logged in users subscribe to the course using a subscription code generated by the settings/system configuration/codes function. My question is what settings do I need to configure in the Course subscription and Display mode options to make this possible?

Hi Graeme,
display mode options >> displaying to everybody or to enrolled only has no effect on the subscription via code: it only has effect on the courses being displayed or not in the catalogue

course subscription >> there should be an option to allow subscription via codes created with the code module
