Course Module not showing Courses in Dashboard

Student Dashboards are not showing the list of courses to which the Student is assigned. I've attached screenshots of the Dashboard Layout, Actual Dashboard, and the courses assigned to the Student in question.

I expect the Dashboard Course Module would list the Classes assign to the Student, the same courses that appear when the Student selects the MY COURSES at the top of the page. If this is correct, what am I missing? If it isn't correct, what's the purpose of the Course Module in the Dashboard?

Any insight on the top of Dashboards would be very appreciated.

Under this version, the purpose of the course block is to show the "upcoming" courses. This means you'd have to set start and end dates to courses.

For the next versions, we'll remove this necessity
