Location of Scorm Files to Replace via FTP
Hi,
I need to update my scorm course files and I would like to do it via FTP so I don't lose user data by deleting and replacing learning objects.
I am looking for the location of my uploaded scorm learning objects. I thought they were supposed to be at the following path:
formalms > files > appLms > scorm >
However, I have nothing in that folder. Yet my courses are functioning in the formalms.
Where are they?
Thanks,
Dr. Rick

Hi,
the path you refer to is the right one. In that folder you should see one subfolder for each scorm you uploaded.
Have you refreshed the remote folder in your FTP client?
If yes, are you sure you are in the right installation folder? I am asking because I've seen many people install the LMS more than once, therefore they have .../formalms, then .../formalms2... , .../formalms_def.... and so on.
This last remark can also be helpful for your other thread, in case all my other suggestions fail.
Finally, when you at last will be able to replace your courses, don't forget to leave the .manifest file without overwriting it. Overwrite everything else but it.

Re: Location of Scorm Files to Replace via FTP
Hi Max,
Thanks for the quick reply and I appreciate your help.
I have created a page with screenshots of both the logo issue and the scorm issue at the following URL. The scrom issue is the third picture down.
http://rickbrinkman.com/formalms-issues/
I am not sure how to "refresh" in my FTP client, however, if I drag a graphic file to the scorm folder it appears immediately in there.
I only see one install of FormaLMS in my ConsciousCommunicationUniversity.com.
Could the files be invisible?
Is there a way within the FormaLMS to see the path it is accessing for my learning objects?
Dr. Rick
