Hi ... I was wondering if anybody has ever tried setting up docebo on a big scale using multiple servers.

I was thinking of using a couple of servers with the docebo source code (htdocs) shared on SAN.

Do you think that'll work?

I have experience with about 8-9.000 users. I know that Docebo LMS was implemented at least with 200.000 users, probably there are also larger installations.

I'm not a system expert (other forum users can be more precise than me and can reply to your question).

I created a docebo installation with 200k users.
The admin - user mgmt crashed! the user list table loads very very slow. And if you try to do a search it will crash the my machine.

In fact, with that number of users, any features that have a ALL USERS listing will crash the system.
maybe it's the way the sql query was program i am not sure.

will update a post once i find out.

would appreciate any leads if anybody else have encountered similar problems.

With more than 14.000k users you need a cluster server, of course with 200.000 registered users you need a specific hardware infrastructure. What are you trying to do?

That query exctracts the user list, the idst ar the user ids...what are you shocked for?

Actually this thread is not about a problem to be fixed. It's about how to manage the system of you have more than 15-20.000 users.
In that case, you need a cluster server. If you don't have that many users, then you are ok with one.

There can't be a guide for such an installation, because server configuration may vary a lot depending on several conditions. Type and real amount of traffic generated, type of OS, and so on. In any case, I suggest to use a cluster solution and not single server. Please contact a server specialist to find the right configuration for your needs.
